8 StoryBrand Website Examples from a StoryBrand Certified Coach

At Hoffbeck + Co., the StoryBrand framework is the foundation for how we empower brands to connect more deeply with their audiences.

If you're new to StoryBrand, it’s a framework developed to simplify messaging through storytelling, guiding brands to speak directly to their customers’ needs. It positions your customer as “the hero” of the story, and your brand as the trusted guide who helps them reach their goals.

I’ve (Mahla here!) been certified since 2018, and I have honed this approach over the years, helping hundreds of clients communicate their unique brand stories effectively. I’m passionate about crafting narratives that turn complex ideas into clear, customer-focused messages that brands can implement into all areas of their marketing.

What Makes StoryBrand Websites Different?

In the following StoryBrand website examples, you might notice some similar patterns across the different websites. This consistency isn’t by chance, rather, it’s intentional. It’s because StoryBrand websites (done well) are crafted using the StoryBrand framework, which has distinct types of sections organized in a certain way, which has proven to be more effective.

But, you’ll see every single one of the websites we share below is unique and fully custom to each business. The StoryBrand framework provides a powerful structure, yet there is an art to executing it well.

The Building Blocks of a Good StoryBrand Website

The Header/Hero Section

Often called “above the fold,” the header is the first thing visitors see when they land on your website. This prime real estate on a site must capture attention immediately since many users may never scroll down if they’re not hooked. A strong header passes the “Grunt Test” by answering three questions right away:

  1. What do you offer?

  2. How will it make my life better?

  3. What do I need to do to buy?

What’s at Stake?

Here, we explain what’s at risk if the customer doesn’t take action as it relates to the business’s products or services. This part underscores the problem (sometimes more subtly, sometimes more directly, depending on the business), highlighting the urgency to take action and pointing out the negative outcomes the customer wants to avoid. Stating the problem the business solves is critical because without an issue or something at stake, why would someone spend their money? This section makes the benefits of your product(s) or service(s) essential.

The Value Propositions/Successes

These sections clearly spell out the benefits your brand offers, providing evidence of why your product or service is the best choice. Often this is in a short, sweet section right under the header/hero section, and it can also be a robust section elsewhere on the page.

Be The Guide

These sections show and communicate empathy and authority, letting customers know they’re in capable hands. It’s where you showcase your expertise or credentials to build trust, such as client testimonials, notable company stats, etc.

The Plan

People are more likely to act when they have a simple, step-by-step plan. This section typically includes three easy steps that show how straightforward it is to get started with your product or service, making the path to success clear and achievable.

The Explanatory Paragraph

This paragraph is where you can dive a bit deeper into your brand’s story, describe what makes your business unique, and share about your mission and your why. It’s key to also use this as an opportunity to emphasize how your offering directly addresses your customer’s needs.

The Video

Videos are a powerful way to convey emotion and make an impact. StoryBrand websites often include a brief, engaging video that speaks to the customer’s pain points and demonstrates how your product or service can solve those problems.

The Pricing

Offering multiple price options (where applicable) helps customers find the choice that best suits their needs and budget. It can simplify decision-making and increase conversions by catering to different customer segments.

The Footer

The footer serves as helpful secondary navigation for a website and holds all the practical, secondary links like pages not linked in the primary/top navigation, legal disclaimers, privacy policies, and other necessary information. This is the final section and doesn’t detract from the main narrative flow of your website.

Curious to see how this works in practice? Let’s look at some examples that bring StoryBrand principles to life.

Monday Morning is a San Diego-based non-alcoholic bottle shop dedicated to bringing the world’s best alcohol-free beers, wines, and spirits to locals seeking a new way to enjoy their drinks. Founder, Zane Curtis, envisioned a brand identity and website that exuded warmth, authenticity, and a genuinely welcoming voice with a bit of a playful, edgy vibe  — values that are central to his brand and the community he’s building. We helped him realize this vision through a carefully crafted brand message (StoryBrand BrandScript) and visual brand identity, lively and engaging copy, and a beautifully designed website that captures Monday Morning’s inviting presence and resonates with its customers.

We designed a modern, approachable website that balances professionalism with empathy, complemented by genuine, trust-building copy that highlights the firm’s supportive approach to tough family law matters.

Wedding + Event Venue StoryBrand Website

Legacy Hill Farm (LHF), a wedding venue owned by Lane’s family in Minnesota – just a short drive from Minneapolis and St. Paul – began as a peaceful private farm before transforming into a stunning outdoor wedding and event destination in 2015. Since then, LHF has hosted over 500 weddings and events, welcoming more than 70,000 guests.

We helped Legacy Hill Farm launch a gorgeous new website to reflect the growth of the brand and to help them stay ahead in a highly competitive market. To connect with their target customers — couples seeking a luxurious yet affordable venue — we wrote copy that guides people clearly and speaks to the many benefits and unique value propositions of LHF.  The website design captures LHF’s enchanting countryside charm with a sophisticated color palette, high-quality images, and custom videos, creating an immersive digital experience. The website also includes a real-time booking calendar that we help them set up, making it easy for couples to reserve their date and plan their special day at Legacy Hill Farm.
